
Penn State Distributed Power Management at the Philadelphia Navy Yard & Application Centers
Distributed Power Management at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, led by Penn State is developing a regional industry cluster around distributed
power production and management; a distributed power production and management research and education program that addresses industry and government needs; and pursue development
of selected commercially viable distributed power management products. BFTP/SEP and DVIRC are partners in this proposal, which has been funded with $700,000 from the
Commonwealth of PA.
Penn State is also leading the U.S. Department of Energy funded Mid-Atlantic Clean Energy Application Center and Mid-Atlantic Solar Regional Training Center.
